I have always been inspired to make fantastic tasting food by my parents. Originally from York, studying Hospitality and Catering at York College, I knew I wanted to start my own business in the food industry. I’m fascinated with design and creativity and there seemed nothing more rewarding than starting and developing my own business.
Having studied at Harper Adams University College for 4 years, experienced rural life, discovered so much about agriculture and the food supply chain, I realised how much I wanted to be a part of it.
Since graduating in 2009, I’ve been a Food Product Developer for the major retailers, most recently developing handcrafted premium pastry products, supplying M&S.
So here it is… I created Miss Friday, a fresh and creative bakehouse that focuses on producing beautiful tasting desserts, using local produce and taste their absolute best.
Instead of following the crowd I wanted to create a new and exciting concept – The dessert bar is my way of bringing the freshest cakes and desserts to your wedding or event and that come with the wow factor!
